Chwiwon Gwangan Jigyeongjeom
취원 광안직영점 Gwangan jigyeongjeom means the company-run Gwangalli branch — posts say the original Chwiwon is in Yeonje-gu near Busan City Hall; no post explains the word Chwiwon itself.
Compiled from 25 blog posts read in fullSources →
A Chinese restaurant occupying an entire three-storey building at 287 Gwanganhaebyeon-ro, Gwangalli — the company-run branch of Chwiwon, whose original is in Yeonje-gu. Noodle and rice dishes such as jjamppong, ganjjajang and Sichuan jjajang were 12,000 won, yuni jjajang 9,000, small sweet-and-sour pork 27,000, small yangjangpi 35,000 and dongpayuk 43,000; set courses were noted at 45,000 and 90,000 won per person, and the lunch course at 30,000. Ten posts mention free candied sweet potato for dessert. We read 30 posts from 19 September 2025 to 3 October 2026: one was about the main branch and was set aside, four (a list post and three look-alike promotional pieces) were not counted as visits, leaving 25 visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Private rooms are the draw: 9 of 25 visits mention a room and 6 mention the second floor, which one writer called rooms-only; several describe a banquet hall on the third floor. One family of five who booked ahead was given a room, and a group of sixteen or so lunched in one.
- Nine visits called the fried dishes crisp — stuffed eggplant, sweet-and-sour pork, crab and shrimp toast. The pork is where opinions split: two posts said it was not especially crisp.
- Five visits said the seasoning is mild rather than salty — the ganjjajang was 'lightly seasoned, so you keep eating', the scallion-oil noodles 'barely salted'. Seven called dishes spicy, mostly the Sichuan jjajang, seafood jjamppong and kkanpunggi.
- Five visits noted tea served in place of water (jasmine, buckwheat-like, or simply warm tea). The standard side dishes are zha cai, smashed cucumber and pickled radish; one writer asked for a cucumber refill.
3 more
- Ten visits called it clean, some crediting the new building; five called it spacious, two mentioning wide gaps between tables.
- Three visits saw celebrity signatures or photos on the walls. The claim that the Busan mayor is a regular is hearsay, so we do not rely on it.
- Nobody reported queuing. Three visits walked straight in — one after days of long queues elsewhere in Busan, another at a weekend lunch. Five visits booked ahead, and one writer called booking essential.

Parking

Four visits confirmed parking, two of them noting just two spaces out front, first come first served. The one-hour validation at the nearby Hyeongje lot for bills over 50,000 won appears only in copied info blocks; nobody said they used it, and one writer said they weren't sure about it.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Posts describe a ground-floor hall, second-floor rooms and a third-floor banquet hall, but nobody said what is on the basement level listed in the address. That is not saying there is nothing there, only that no one wrote about it.
No one mentioned a step at the entrance, wheelchair or stroller access, or a lift. Writers went up to the second and third floors, but we don't know whether by stairs or lift.
Only one post mentioned the toilets: the women's is on the second floor. We don't know whether there is one on the ground floor or an accessible one; separate men's and women's toilets also appear in a copied info block.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- One visit walked from Gwangan Station and called the location awkward. The 'ten minutes from exit 3 towards Millak Waterfront Park' directions appear word-for-word in two posts and are copied. Nobody mentioned taking a bus.
- Company varies: six visits with friends, five with family (four with children, one noting a high chair), three work or group meals, one alone.
- Opening hours appear in 15 posts, mostly copied info blocks: 11:30–23:00 in 14, a 15:00–17:00 break in 13 (eight say weekdays only), last order 22:00 in 8. One post gives a 23:30 weekday close and one an 11:00 opening. No visit post mentions a closing day.
- On price, four visits found it expensive and one thought the 30,000-won lunch course good value. Two people paid 69,000 won for small sweet-and-sour pork, XO fried rice, seafood udon and two draft beers. Only the courses were priced per person.
- Six posts give the phone number 051-751-5071. Two visits booked by phone; Naver booking appears only in copied text. Advance booking for Peking duck is mentioned only in a promotional post, so we don't rely on it.
- Three posts (September and October 2025, April 2026) repeat the same phrases and homepage link with no prices at all; we treat them as promotional copy and do not count them as visits.
