Chwihwamong
취화몽 Chwihwamong is written 醉花夢 — 'a dream of getting drunk on liquor and flowers' — and the house carries it into a decor of trees and flowers.

A converted house turned drinking-and-dining spot, one block back from Gwangalli Beach in an alley off Gwanganhaebyeon-ro 255beon-gil, across from Sambari. It opens at 5:30 p.m., runs into the small hours, and you order by scanning a QR code at the table. The dishes visitors ordered most were the spicy Chwihwamong pasta topped with shrimp (nine posts) and the cheese-and-pepperoni potato pancake (nine posts) — 20,000 and 19,000 won on an April 2026 menu, or 37,000 won as a set. Many posts mention hot pots such as beef nabe and gopdoritang, and a long list of highballs, makgeolli and traditional liquors. It moved here around April 2025 from a spot near Geumnyeonsan Station. We read 30 posts dated 7 April 2025 to 21 September 2026: 26 describe a visit, 3 only introduce the place, and 1 turned out to be about a different bar (Chwiwol).

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- The semi-outdoor terrace is the draw. Ten posts mention it. An April 2025 post describes glass doors opening from the dining room onto it, with a large tree growing up through the middle; a May 2026 post called it a glass-walled terrace and said staff brought blankets even though it wasn't cold. One visitor arrived at 6 p.m. to find the terrace already full and sat inside. Several posts say it's lovely in the rain, but mostly as something they'd heard.
- Shrimp crackers arrive as soon as you sit down — nine posts mention them. Two say pickled radish came with them, and one refilled the crackers three times.
- Ordering is by the QR code on each table, as seven posts note. One adds that the first order has a 20,000-won minimum.
- Ten posts called something spicy. Five were about the Chwihwamong pasta — one compared it to Buldak noodles, another said a heat-shy husband struggled until he ate it with the cheese. Two were about the fiery chicken feet on the gnocchi gratin, tempered by the cream sauce. The rest were the scallop ramyeon, the Buldak-sauce rice balls and the gopdoritang.
2 more
- When there's a queue, tables get a time limit. Three posts mention it: two say 2 hours 30 minutes from ordering, and a June 2026 visitor who waited in line wrote of a minimum order and a two-hour limit.
- Nine posts went with friends, five on a date, and three in larger groups such as a party of seven. Seven posts stopped in for a second or third round after eating elsewhere.

Parking

No visitor reported parking on site. Six posts say there is no lot and point to nearby public or paid lots. One post claims there is parking, but it's a scraped blurb, so we didn't count it.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 26 posts read) |
|---|
Nobody described the floor level or any stairs from experience; the '1st floor' in the address is a registered value. Posts only say you follow the sign down an alley between buildings.
No post says whether there's a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That means we don't know, not that there isn't one.
One post says the toilet is outside; another only says it's close by and clean. Nobody mentioned whether it's separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Eight posts from April to July 2026 share the same three hashtags and repeat the shop's line that every broth and sauce is made in-house. Only one discloses sponsorship; the others say nothing. We counted what they ate, but treated the shop's slogan as copied text, not evidence.
- An April 2025 post introduced the bar as newly relocated, noting the space used to be a cocktail bar. One post published in September 2026 says its photos are from the old shop near Geumnyeonsan Station, so we left out its remarks on queues and interior.
- Waits vary. One post queued to get in (a June 2026 evening); two walked straight in, at 9 p.m. on a public holiday and on a Saturday evening. Many posts say weekend waits are a must, but as advice rather than experience, so we didn't count them. Nobody recorded how many minutes they waited.
- Two posts booked ahead. One says reservations are only taken for 5:30 to 7 p.m., and that its 30,000-won deposit wasn't deducted from the bill until they phoned to get it back. Mentions of CatchTable and Naver booking are copied info.
- One post describes the walk: about 12 minutes from exit 3 of Gwangan Station on Line 2. The '955 m' figure is copied across several posts, and one gives 412 m from exit 3 of Geumnyeonsan Station. Nobody mentioned buses.
- Opening hours are copied differently from post to post. All agree it opens at 5:30 p.m. (one April 2025 post says 5 p.m. on Sundays). For closing, eight posts give 3 a.m. Sunday to Thursday and 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday; three say 2 a.m. on Sundays and Mondays; two say 4 a.m. daily. Two September 2026 posts say 4 a.m., or 5 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, while another from the same month says 3 and 4 a.m. Almost all of this is copied, though one visitor did order at 2 a.m. on a Friday. Check before you go.
- On price, three posts said specific dishes were reasonable (chicken-skin fries at 14,000 won, tomato-mozzarella at 10,000, salmon salad at 20,000) and one found the menu a bit pricey. Prices are rising: the cheese potato pancake went from 19,000 won in April 2025 and April 2026 to 20,000 by September 2026, and the pork-and-sprout stir-fry from 20,000 (a copied July 2025 figure) to 24,000. No post says what a group spent in total.
- The menu has changed. One post says the Chwihwamong pasta used to come with meat and now comes with shrimp; an April 2026 menu listed both a shrimp version (20,000 won) and a chop-steak version (23,000 won). A February 2026 visitor went for the milk makgeolli on the Naver menu and was told it had been dropped.
- Many posts list the same phone number, 0507-1390-4515. A copied shop notice asks groups of four or more to call before booking.
