Vegenarang

베지나랑 Bejinarang The name joins 'vege' (vegetable) with the Korean 나랑, 'with me'.

Compiled from 22 blog posts read in fullSources →

A vegan restaurant on the 9th floor of the Noble Sky building at the edge of Millak Waterside Park in Suyeong-gu, Busan, above the well-known Subyeon Choego pork-soup shop. It cooks temple-style food without garlic, green onion, onion, chives or wild chives, but in familiar shapes: black-rice soy cutlet, avocado rolls, stir-fried rice noodles, a lotus-leaf rice tray. On the August 2026 menu, single meals run 13,000–14,500 won, larger dishes 21,000–28,000 won, and a course is 45,000 won per person. Window seats look out on Gwangan Bridge and the sea, and private rooms draw group gatherings. We read 30 posts from 1 January 2025 to 21 August 2026; 23 describe actually eating here (two were set aside: one about the Geochang head branch, one about the pork-soup shop downstairs).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Eight posts noticed many foreign diners — one solo diner in November 2025 found most of the room was foreigners, and a May 2025 post saw the three window tables almost entirely taken by foreign groups. Three posts also mention many older diners and family gatherings.
  2. Eight posts mention private rooms (we did not count one that only thought there might be one). One counted two rooms for groups; a party of seven had the inner room opened up for them. One post says parties of five or more, or anyone ordering the course, book by phone.
  3. Five posts say you can book. The bridge-facing window seats are reservation-only (August 2026), and one party that booked was given a good window seat. A walk-in party of three said food still came promptly.
  4. Five posts found portions generous: three women were stuffed on three dishes, and one plate of rice noodles was judged enough for two. A January 2025 post said one dish per person is enough, which we did not count as 'large'.
1 more
  1. Of posts that say who they came with: seven with friends, five with family (a mother, parents, in-laws, a sister), two as couples, one alone; three were groups of five to seven. The solo diner sat at a two-seat table, and another post saw a few people eating alone.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 10 (of 22 posts read)
Lift to the floor3 of 22 posts
Toilet inside2 of 22 posts

It is on the 9th floor: ten posts say so in their own words and three mention taking the lift. The entrance is to the left of the pork-soup shop, beside a convenience store. The sea view is not for every seat — many posts saw Gwangan Bridge from the windows, but one from May 2025 says only the inner six-seat group tables face the sea, while the two-seat tables by the entrance looked onto a construction site.

No one describes arriving by wheelchair or with a stroller, and no one mentions a step at the door. One info box says wheelchair access is possible though the lift may be small, but that is copied text we did not count. One post mentions six-seat tables up a few stairs inside, so the floor may not be all on one level.

Two posts say the toilet is inside the restaurant; one calls it small but clean. Nobody says whether it is separated by gender — that is unknown, not absent.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 27 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Only one post describes a wait: in May 2026, a party booked for the 11:30 opening saw every seat taken by 12:10 and a queue by 12:40. Another found it full once and left, then came back early on a weekday evening and was the first customer. No post gives a wait in minutes.
  • No post describes getting here by subway or bus. One mentions bus routes 210 and 83-1, but it is a write-up we did not count as a visit.
  • Ordering has changed. In May 2025 the table tablet was only a menu and you rang a bell to order from staff; three posts from May and August 2026 ordered by QR code at the table.
  • Prices have gone up twice. The soy cutlet was 12,000 won in early 2025, 13,000 won from May to November 2025, and 14,000 won from May 2026; the avocado roll went 12,500 → 13,500 → 14,500 won, and the lotus-rice tray 20,000 won (Jan 2025) → 23,000 won (May 2026). No one called it expensive; one said prices were not a burden, another that meat-eaters would get better value elsewhere.
  • Fourteen posts give opening hours, mostly copied from listings. All agree on 11:30–21:00 with a 15:00–17:00 break. Last orders were 20:00 in two January 2025 posts and 14:20 (lunch) / 19:40 (dinner) from May 2025. The regular closure went from 'none' (Feb 2025) to the second Saturday of the month in one December 2025 post, and the third Saturday in four posts from May 2026. Check before going.
  • Phone numbers disagree. Six posts list 070-7093-5555, but the restaurant's own blog blurb, copied into several posts, gives that as the Geochang head branch and 070-4177-5555 for Gwangalli — which one May 2025 post also lists. Another gives 0507-1416-5561. We could not tell which number takes reservations.
  • One post (January 2025) found everything on the sweet side — even the kimchi tasted of yuzu — and thought it a hard sell for non-vegan friends. A November 2025 post relays a friend's view that it was too sweet when it opened but has since evened out; that is secondhand and we did not count it.
  • Some posts were not counted. An October 2025 post closely reuses the wording of an August 2025 one — the same two dishes, the same description of the sauce, the same foreign and monk diners, the same meal kits by the door — so we did not treat it as a visit. A February 2026 post from a restaurant-startup community has too many sentences that do not add up (it says the pork-soup shop downstairs kept things from getting crowded) and was also left out.
