Aroha Gwangan
아로하 광안 Aroha is the Korean spelling of the Hawaiian greeting aloha — the pub is done up as a tropical resort — and Gwangan marks this as the Gwangalli beachfront branch.
Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →
A food-and-drinks pub on the third floor of a building facing Gwangalli Beach (237 Gwanganhaebyeon-ro). People come to drink over 30,000-won-range dishes, such as crab-innard cream pasta (33,900 won), cheesy octopus and pork belly, or crab stew, while looking out through floor-to-ceiling glass at Gwangan Bridge. It opens at 5 p.m. We read 30 posts from July 2025 to September 2026, 24 of them from actual visits. Two were about a different branch, Jeonpo Aroha in Busanjin-gu, and were set aside; four were write-ups or lists by people who hadn't been, so we didn't count them.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The windows are why people come. Fourteen of the 24 visit posts say the glass frontage opens onto the beach and Gwangan Bridge. Window seats go fast: one post found them all taken by 7 p.m. on a Thursday, and two say a reservation doesn't let you pick your seat. Several got a window table by arriving at the 5 p.m. opening.
- Shrimp crackers arrive as soon as you sit down, as 10 posts note. Two say they were the spicy kind, one got pickles as well, and one had them refilled. Some mention barley tea in a big jug instead of water.
- Nine posts say portions are large. The crab pasta gets called a full two servings by one post and about one and a half by another, and two posts say a pair of them over-ordered.
- Six posts say you order from a tablet or kiosk at the table. Two say the food came out quickly.

- Waiting depends on the hour. Two posts describe a queue: one group was the last seated at 7 p.m. on a weekday, and another saw a line form after 6:30 on a Monday. Six posts went with a reservation. One notes there is no waiting area, so you stand outside.

Parking

The pub has no parking of its own. One post says to use a nearby public lot; another drove and parked in a paid lot nearby. Lines like 'no parking' or 'paid lot behind the building' come from copied info.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 3 (of 23 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Lift to the floor | 2 of 23 posts |
| Separate restrooms | 2 of 23 posts |
It's on the third floor, and there is a lift. Two posts rode the elevator up (one says the stairs work too), and one gives the route: enter beside the Gupo Guksu sign on the ground floor and take the glass elevator. Three posts describe going up to the third floor, so it is not a basement spot.
No one says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in; we only know there's an elevator. One write-up claims wheelchair access is easy, but its author hadn't been there, so we didn't count it.
No one says whether the restroom is inside the pub itself. Two posts say from experience that it's split by gender, and the same detail turns up in several copied info blocks.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- There's a smoking spot inside the building. One post found a smoking booth near the restrooms, so there was no need to go downstairs; another complained that cigarette smoke drifted in whenever people came and went.
- One post says from experience that it's a 5- to 10-minute walk from Gwangan Station along the main road. The line '755 m from Gwangan Station exit 3' appears word for word in four posts and is copied.
- Accounts of the room's size differ. Four posts call it roomy with well-spaced tables; one, from December 2025, says it's actually small.
- Opening hours appear in 15 posts, mostly in copied info blocks. The most common version, given by seven posts, is 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Monday to Thursday and 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. Friday to Sunday, with last orders at 1:10 and 2:10. Four say simply 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily. One post each gives weekdays to 2 and weekends to 3; Mondays alone to 2; Fridays and Saturdays alone to 3; or 3 a.m. every day. One gives last orders at 1:20. Several say it is open every day of the year.
- Most dishes run 30,000-something won. Posts from March 2026 on put the crab pasta at 33,900 won; a July 2025 write-up listed 31,000, so the price has gone up since then. That earlier figure comes from a write-up, though, not a visit. One August 2026 post gave 18,000 for the pasta and 28,000 for the octopus dish; that matches no other post, so we left it out. Two posts say it isn't expensive, and three thought it pricey until they saw the portions. As for a full meal, one couple paid in the mid-50,000s for the octopus dish, a rice ball and beer.
- We found three different phone numbers. Posts from December 2025 and February 2026 give 010-3918-8447, three August 2026 posts give 010-4646-1490, and one gives a number starting with 0507. Some posts booked through Naver Booking or CatchTable.
- Many posts from July and August 2026 follow one template: 'Gwangalli ocean-view pub' in the title and tags, and the same Naver Place link at the end in twelve of them. None disclose sponsorship, though one from December 2025 carries a review-campaign banner. So we left taste verdicts out of our counts and counted only things people experienced: seating, portions, how ordering works.
