1988 Busan Hanujip
1988부산한우집 Hanu-jip means a house of hanwoo, Korean native beef; 1988 Busan is simply part of the name.

A hanwoo grill house on the 5th floor of 249 Tower, right on Gwangalli Beach (Casa Busano is on the ground floor); one post says it opened in August 2026. Gwangan Bridge fills the glass frontage, and staff charcoal-grill the whole of the '1988 all-cuts' platter — five 1++ cuts, 80 g each, 400 g for two — from start to finish. Meals end with crab doenjang stew (6,000 won) or hanwoo doenjang rice (10,000 won). The platter was 147,000 won in September posts and 154,000 won in posts from 1–2 October. We read 19 posts dated 14 September to 4 October 2026: two were about other places and were dropped, one was a list of local restaurants and wasn't counted, and 16 describe a visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- You don't grill here. Fifteen of the sixteen visit posts say a staff member cooked the meat from first piece to last, explaining each cut and starting with the striploin. One says the default is medium-rare, going rarer for some cuts. A family with a 15-month-old says the griller cut small pieces for the baby without being asked.
- Ten posts describe Gwangan Bridge through floor-to-ceiling glass, and several say you see it even away from the window. One found the window seats a bit hot on a sunny afternoon and noticed blankets on hand. One post was told window seats can't be reserved specifically.
- Six posts say there is no corkage on drinks you bring; one brought its own bottle of bourbon. One post notes wine comes in Zalto glasses with an 80,000-won breakage charge, and that ordinary glasses are available.
- Seven posts ordered by scanning the QR code on the table with their phone; one adds that staff help anyone unused to it.

Parking
10 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

The building has no car park of its own. Ten posts say to use the Anjeon private lot in the back alley and get your ticket stamped when you pay, which gives two hours free. The post devoted to that lot calls it an open yard for six to eight cars, 4,000 won an hour, no cards; another says the nearby unmanned lot isn't covered. Walking time is given as one minute by three posts, one to two minutes by one, and five minutes by one.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 4 (of 16 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Lift to the floor | 2 of 16 posts |
Two posts took the lift to the 5th floor, one entering from the back of the building. No one says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or pushchair gets in — we don't know, which is not the same as no.
No one mentions where the toilets are or whether they are separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 17 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- All sixteen visit posts went up between 18 September and 2 October and follow nearly the same running order (the view, the ageing cabinet, the dry-ice reveal, staff grilling, free corkage, the parking stamp, the 10,000-won review discount, drone-show seats). Only one discloses sponsorship ('PR'); the rest don't say who paid. Claims such as the '1++ No.9' grade or dimming the lights for drone shows are the restaurant's own words, repeated, and we didn't count them.
- Prices changed. The two-person platter is 147,000 won in three September posts and 154,000 won in five posts from 1–2 October, and two of the later posts list tenderloin in place of fresh rib finger. Single cuts are 34,000–46,000 won per 100 g, unchanged across both periods. For two, the platter with stew and rice comes to about 160,000 won. One post calls it not cheap; two call it good value. Six posts mention a 10,000-won discount for leaving a review.
- Every opening-hours line was copied from an info block. Fourteen posts agree on 12:00–22:00. Four posts up to 22 September give last orders at 21:00; five from 29 September give 21:10 (21:40 on Saturdays). Saturday hours to 22:30 first appear on 25 September. Only one post mentions closing days, and it says there are none.
- Only one post mentions waiting: no queue at noon on a Thursday. No one reports what Saturday drone-show evenings or fireworks night are like. Eight posts booked through Naver or advise doing so.
- Six posts went with family and four as a couple. None went with friends or alone, so we can't say how it suits those.
- More than ten posts give the same phone number, 0507-1398-5067, and bookings go through Naver. Two posts relay the restaurant's notice that fireworks-night (7 November) reservations would be announced separately around 7 October; none of the posts we read say what happened next.
