수변최고돼지국밥 해운대미포점 Subyeon means 'waterside' and choego 'the best' — the chain's head shop sits by the Millak waterside park in Gwangalli; dwaeji gukbap is Busan's pork-and-rice soup.

The Mipo branch of the Subyeon Choego pork-soup chain, next to LCT in Haeundae and close to the Blue Line Park Mipo station. We read 26 posts dated 6 July to 20 October 2026; 5 were about other branches of the chain (Millak, Gwangan, Lotte) and were set aside, leaving 21 that all describe eating here. The signature pork-jowl soup is 13,000 won, the plain, offal, mixed and sausage soups 11,000 won; sets run 18,000 won for one, 39,000 won for two and 79,000 won for four. You order on a tablet at the table and refill side dishes from a self-serve corner.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Portion is what people talk about most: ten posts said the bowls were heavy with meat — one called it the most meat she had found in any pork soup. One who paid 3,000 won to upsize said even the pot was huge, and one felt the jowl soup inside the one-person set was a little smaller than the bowl ordered alone.
- Seven posts said there was no porky smell. One differed: she caught a slight smell in the jowl meat in her soup, though not in the boiled jowl on the same table. On greasiness, three said it was not heavy and one found it rich enough to stir in plenty of chili paste.
- Waiting depends on the hour. Three posts waited: ten minutes just after 11 a.m. on a weekday, seven groups ahead around 11 a.m. on a weekend, and a holiday visit queued remotely on the Tabling app. Five walked straight in — two around 3 p.m., one in the morning and one just after the lunch rush. The queue runs through Tabling's remote waitlist.
- Four posts brought children. Two mention high chairs, and two ordered the 5,000-won children's bowl (ages 8 and under). One noted the room was not roomy enough for a stroller, though the high chair made it work.
1 more
- Four posts noticed celebrities' signed boards on the wall; two singled out Lim Young-woong's.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Five posts mention seating upstairs, but two were seated on the ground floor and one noted the upper floor was closed during her visit. Several mention window-facing single seats on the ground floor for solo diners.
We do not know whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair can get in. One post said the room was too tight for a stroller; no one mentioned steps, a threshold or a lift, nor how you get to the upper floor.
We do not know where the toilets are. 'Inside, separate for men and women' appears only in copied info blocks; one post mentions going to the toilet but not where it is.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- No one wrote of arriving by subway or bus; '987 m from Jung-dong station exit 7' is a copied line. Many walked over from nearby hotels such as LCT and Signiel or along the beach toward Mipo.
- Ten posts list the hours as 24 hours, every day, but all in copied blocks. Firsthand, one post ate after midnight and another around 9 a.m.
- Seven posts give the phone as 0507-1488-2256; one gives 051-746-8897. No post mentions reservations; the line is handled by Tabling's remote waitlist.
- On staff, one post each way: one found the person who seated them kind, another said service was slow in the rush and her paid extra rice never arrived until she asked again.
- Prices were the same across posts from July to October 2026, with no sign of a rise. Only one post gave a total: 24,000 won for two bowls. One post comes from a templated guide site, describes a 2023 visit, and says four of its six places were sponsored without saying which.
