A pork-soup (dwaeji gukbap) shop on Gunam-ro, the street running from Haeundae Station to the beach, beside the entrance to Haeundae Market. It is the Haeundae branch of Subyeon Choego, whose main shop is in Millak-dong; eleven posts say it is open 24 hours. The signature is hangjeong gukbap, pork-jowl soup, at 13,000 won; the regular pork and mixed soups are 11,000 won. You order and pay up front on a tablet at the table. We read 29 posts from July 24 to October 21, 2026; 17 of them describe actually eating here. We set aside 7 that were about the Millak and Mipo branches, or about a different soup shop listed at the same address.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect to wait. Twelve of the posts from people who went describe queuing. The times they wrote down: 97 minutes on a Sunday after joining at 10:31 a.m. with 46 groups ahead; an hour after joining at 12:20 on a Saturday; 1 hour 20 minutes; 35 minutes after joining at 10:45 a.m.; 40 minutes behind nine groups at 10:10 p.m. on a Wednesday; 20 to 30 minutes after 8 p.m. One post found five groups ahead at 6:30 on a weekday evening and was seated in under five minutes. Several joined the line remotely from their hotel on the Tabling app; one warns that your place is cancelled if you don't check in on arrival.
- The room is small. Ten posts said so; one alone called it large. One counted only six tables on the ground floor, another about six four-seat tables plus a few single seats. Nine posts mention a second floor, and two warn that the stairs up are steep. One post was told the second floor is closed on weekday evenings, with the stairs blocked off.
- The most common remark is that it doesn't smell of pork. Nine posts say there's little or no gaminess, including one writer who normally can't eat pork soup because of the smell. Most describe the broth as milky and rich. Opinions split two to two on greasiness, and both who found it greasy had the pork-jowl soup.
- Ten posts say the bowls are full of meat; one writer said you wouldn't get that much in Seoul even ordering a large.

- Six posts describe ordering and paying first on a tablet at the table. Four mention a rule of one dish per person; children three and under are exempt, and kids eight and under can order a 5,000-won children's bowl. Four say side dishes can be topped up from a self-serve corner, though one was told the aged kimchi that comes with the boiled pork isn't refilled. Two got a free can of soda for posting a receipt review.

Four posts say there's no parking. One visitor who drove used the paid lot at the nearby Save Zone store (quoted as 2,000 won per 30 minutes); another suggests the Haeundae Square public car park. Two say it's about a five-minute walk from Exit 3 of Haeundae Station.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

| In a basement | yes 0 · no 4 (of 17 posts read) |
| Step-free access | yes 0 · no 2 (of 17 posts read) |
Two posts say strollers aren't allowed inside; the shop is too cramped, so strollers and large suitcases stay outside. Two describe the only way up to the second floor as steep stairs, and nobody mentions a lift. Four posts place seating on the ground floor. No one says whether there is a step at the entrance; that doesn't mean there isn't one, only that we don't know.
No one mentions the toilet: whether there is one inside, or whether it's split by gender. We don't know.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 22 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Couples account for most of the visits we can place: six posts. One went with a parent and one with a friend. No post describes bringing a child.
- Eleven posts give the opening hours as 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and none disagree. Seven of those, though, are info lines copied into the top of the post. One notes that the second floor is closed on weekday evenings.
- Prices were the same in every post from July to October 2026: 13,000 won for the pork-jowl soup, 11,000 won for the regular, mixed and sundae soups, 16,000 won for the pork-jowl suyuk set, and 2,000 won for the spicy scallion topping. Two bowls for two people come to 22,000–26,000 won; add the small pork-jowl plate (19,000 won) and you're past 40,000. One writer thought the price fair given the cut of pork.
- Four posts list the phone number as 0507-1441-9223; one list post copied from Kakao Map gives 010-3239-9222. No post mentions taking reservations. Everyone queued, either remotely on the Tabling app or on the waitlist machine at the door.
