Haeundae Bada Gimbap

해운대바다김밥 Bada means sea — the shop pairs Haeundae beach with gimbap and dresses its front, walls and boxes in blue sea motifs.

A mini-gimbap shop on the ground floor of 33-1 Jung-dong 1-ro, right by Haeundae Market. You order at a kiosk and walk off with boxes of five rolls: 3,900 won for the plain egg-wrapped roll up to 6,900 won for the roe-and-seafood or rocket-bulgogi rolls, or 27,000 won for a 25-roll picnic set in five flavours. We read 8 posts from 9 September to 26 October 2026, 7 of them from actual visits; 5 landed between 23 and 26 October.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. All 7 visitors took their food away; none ate in. Two posts describe somewhere to sit (sofa tables and standing tables), while two others only say they were told eating in is possible when it is quiet.
  2. All 7 visitors ordered at a kiosk. Three said you enter your phone number at payment and get a message when the order is ready; one counted two kiosks.
  3. All four posts that ate the spicy Busan fishcake roll said it was hot — one warned it beats Shin Ramyun, another expected it milder and was surprised. The other rolls were described as mild.
  4. Four posts saw the ingredient-origin board on the wall. Claims about rice milled within 20 days and rice cooked six times a day appear in many posts, but they are the shop's own signage, so we did not count them.

  1. Two posts mention cold barley tea set out for customers; one was grateful for it on a hot day.

Parking

3 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Posts saying you cannot3 of 7 posts

Three posts say the shop has no parking of its own. Two point to the district office and market public lots (500 won per 10 minutes); one suggests phoning the order ahead and stopping briefly out front to collect it.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 1 (of 7 posts read)
Step at the entrance1 of 7 posts

Nobody wrote about getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. One sponsored post says the shop is on the ground floor with steps in front of the door. That is not proof there is no ramp — just that no one said.

No post mentions a toilet, so we don't know whether there is one inside or whether it is separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 8 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No post reports waiting. One walked straight to the kiosk and had the food in about five minutes; another came near closing at 8 pm and did not wait. Several mention a sign warning of waits over 30 minutes, but that is the shop's notice, not anyone's experience. We don't know what a busy lunchtime is like.
  • Only one post describes the walk itself — about seven minutes from Haeundae station or the beach. The '443 m from exit 1' figure is copied listing data.
  • Company doesn't add up to a pattern: one person ate alone, one group of three shared a set, and two people bought food to take home to their husbands.
  • Prices match between September and October posts except the family set: 42,000 won in a September post, 44,000 won in an October one. With one post each we can't tell a price rise from a typo. One post felt everything but the plain egg roll was clearly on the expensive side.
  • Six of the 7 visit posts give 08:30–20:30, closed Thursdays; one says it opens at 08:00. Five of these were copied from the listing. Nobody mentions a break time or last order, and we don't know about public holidays.
  • Five posts list the phone number 0507-1430-7919. Two say ordering ahead by phone or Naver lets you pick up without waiting.
  • Of the 7 visit posts, two disclose sponsorship, two say they paid themselves and three are silent. The five posts from 23–26 October repeat the same shop copy in the same order, so they may be one promotional batch.
