Haebok
해복 Haebok (海福) joins the characters for sea and blessing; the restaurant's own line, copied into several posts, is 'fortune delivered through seafood.'

Haebok is an abalone restaurant on the second floor of the LCT Podium building at the Mipo end of Haeundae Beach in Busan. Prices in the posts: abalone porridge 16,000 won, grilled abalone 45,000 won, small steamed abalone 28,000 won, abalone-seaweed noodles and abalone seafood ramyeon 15,000 won. Whatever you order, side dishes including marinated crab and kimchi pancake arrive first. It opens at 8 a.m., and many posts treat it as a breakfast stop. We read 30 posts dated 29 March to 27 October 2026; 25 record an actual meal. Three posts about other businesses were removed, and two that only listed the name or could not be read were not counted.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The windows face Haeundae Beach: 16 of the 25 visit posts describe the sea through floor-to-ceiling glass. Four mention an outdoor terrace; one summer visitor stepped out, found it too hot, and came straight back in. The claim that bookings get window seats first is copied from the reservation page.
- Food is made to order and takes about 20 minutes. Six posts say they waited that long, and one quotes a wall notice saying the porridge is boiled to order and takes about 20 minutes. The side dishes and the sea view are what posts say fill the wait.
- Thirteen posts call the portions large: one porridge shared by two, a single bowl that looked like it was for two, and a 'taster' pork plate that was anything but small.
- After the meal, iced tea and plum tea sit by the door in paper cups to take; 11 posts mention it. One August 2026 lunch post found the plum tea gone and was simply told there was none.

- You order on a tablet or kiosk at the table (11 posts); one post says you order first and pay on the way out.
- Seven posts mention high chairs and five went with children. One says staff brought separate children's tableware; another says the child was handed an organic drink as a small gift.
- Family meals lead with 10 posts — parents, children, a Chuseok gathering. Three went as a couple, three as a group, one alone; the solo diner says that early in the morning the house let them order a single porridge despite the two-portion rule.

Eight posts parked in the LCT mall garage and got two free hours by giving their plate number at the till. One got lost in the garage, found the staff unsure where to send them, and warned that you may walk a long way depending on where you park.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 17 of 25 posts |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 25 posts read) |
It is on the second floor of the LCT mall. Seventeen posts describe going up to find it, one by escalator from the beach side. Several say the building is large enough to get lost in but signs and floor markings point the way. No post mentions taking a lift.
No one describes the entrance step or getting in with a wheelchair or pram. One post repeats the listing's 'wheelchair-accessible entrance', which we do not count. That means nobody wrote about it, not that it is a problem.
Only one post describes the toilets: shared ones outside the restaurant, in the mall. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied listing data.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The porridge minimum seems to have changed. Two May 2026 posts say it was sold from two portions, one paying 32,000 won for two. Posts from August on order a single 16,000-won portion. Since one May diner was allowed a single portion anyway, we cannot tell whether the rule was dropped or is applied case by case.
- One post came by subway: about 15 minutes on foot from exit 7 of Jung-dong station. The '896 m from exit 7' figure is copied listing data. No one wrote about the bus.
- Only one post queued: about five minutes at an August 2026 lunch. A warning that weekend lunches may have a wait was speculation and not counted. Two posts booked ahead.
- Opinions on price split: three posts say it is on the pricey side, one found it reasonable for three people, and one said it costs more than an ordinary restaurant but the portions and view justify it. Porridge alone is 16,000 won; porridge plus grilled abalone for two comes to 61,000 won.
- Two posts found the food salty, both about the abalone-seaweed noodles; one asked for extra hot water that day. No one said the porridge was salty.
- Eighteen posts give opening hours; 17 agree on 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily with a 3–4:30 p.m. break and last orders at 9:30. One gives closing as 10:10 p.m. Almost all are copied from the listing, and no post mentions a closing day.
- Many posts give the same phone number, 0507-1410-3922. Several copy that reservations go through Naver booking; two actually booked. Several mention a 2,000-won takeaway discount, but no one took food away.
- Ten posts appeared in the eight days from 2 to 9 August 2026, and several repeat the reservation page's copy in the same order — daily live abalone from Wando, sold out rather than frozen, no artificial seasoning, 20 minutes cooked to order — plus the 20% discount at the ice-cream shop next door. Only one post, from May, discloses sponsorship; three say they paid their own way. We treat the house's own claims as copied text, not evidence.
