극동돼지국밥 Geukdong means 'the Far East'; dwaeji gukbap is Busan's pork soup served over rice.

A pork-soup house in Mipo, Haeundae, right by the Mipo station of the Beach Train and across from Signiel. The broth is clear rather than milky; all five gukbap versions (standard, lean, offal, mixed, and soup-and-rice-apart) cost 11,000 won, the suyuk set 13,000 and a tasting plate of boiled pork 15,000. The bowls are packed with meat, and chives, garlic and chili come from a self-serve bar. Many posts copy an 8 a.m. opening time, and most visitors were travellers coming out of nearby hotels for a hangover breakfast. We read 23 posts from 26 June to 20 October 2026; 17 of them describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Six posts say the broth had no porky smell at all, some going further and saying even the usual pork aroma was missing. Only one disagrees: after the mixed bowl, that writer was startled by a strong offal smell and advises skipping the offal. Another found nothing in the food but noticed a heavy pork smell in the room when walking in.
- Waiting splits four to four. Of the four who waited, two queued remotely on the CatchTable app; one arrived around noon to a huge line, the other had registered early and was second. The four who walked straight in came around 9 a.m. on a weekday, at 11 a.m., and before noon on a Saturday; the weekday-9 a.m. writer added that the room was nearly full by 10.
- Five posts mention going back to the self-serve bar for more side dishes. It holds kimchi, radish kimchi, chives, garlic and hot green chili; one writer notes chives are not on the table and have to be fetched. Another says there was no ssamjang, and that ordering was by tablet at each table.
- Four posts say the bowls are generous with meat; one writer kept finding more pork as they stirred.

Two posts say there is no parking lot of its own and point to nearby public lots (Mipo and Moontan Road). Two more only copy 'no parking' in an info header, which we did not count.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
1 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 17 posts read) |
|---|
No post describes which floor it is on from experience; only the address says ground floor.
No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is none. One writer notes the shop sits on a slight slope.
Only one post mentions the toilet: it is reached through the outdoor garden and did not feel fully separated by gender, which that writer found a little uncomfortable. No other post confirms this.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 20 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Only one post says they came by subway; the rest walked from nearby hotels or stopped in before or after the Beach Train.
- Seven posts give the same hours, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, and two give last order at 8:30 p.m., but all of these are copied info headers. One wrote last order as 11:30 p.m., which contradicts the closing time, so we left it out. No post mentions a closing day.
- Only one post gives the phone number (0507-1494-7880). None says whether reservations are taken, and posts split two to two on which remote-queue app is used, Tabling or CatchTable. One CatchTable user warns you must check in near the shop when your turn comes or the place may be cancelled.
- Claims of 100% domestic pork, traditional toryeom ladling and having no franchise branches are copied from the shop's wall displays or hearsay, so we did not count them.
