Seonggong Gukbap
성공국밥 Seonggong means 'success', and gukbap is rice served in a hot soup — here a Busan-style pork broth.

A pork gukbap house on the main road through Jeonpo-dong, near Seomyeon in Busan. A menu copied in September 2026 lists plain pork gukbap at 10,000 won, lean-meat and sundae versions at 10,500, the mixed bowl at 11,500 and the separate-plate suyuk baekban at 13,000; ordering gukbap gets you a self-serve bar of tteokbokki, sundae and noodles. There are also cold noodles (10,000-11,000 won) and boiled-pork and hotpot dishes for drinking. We read 4 posts, from 22 September to 3 October 2026, and all four describe actually eating here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- All four posts describe the self-serve bar: with any gukbap you can help yourself to tteokbokki, sundae and noodles, plus kimchi, radish kimchi, chives, salted shrimp and chili paste. Two posts said that elsewhere they felt awkward asking for extra noodles, and here they could just take them.
- Three posts said the room is large and all four called it clean. One added that the tables are far apart, the ceiling is high and one wall is all glass.
- Two posts said they ordered through a QR code at the table.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
No post describes which floor the restaurant is on from their own visit; one post's directions simply mention it at ground level.
We don't know whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. That is not a no; nobody wrote about it.
We don't know where the toilet is. Two posts copied 'separate men's and women's toilets' from the listing, but nobody wrote about using it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- None of the four posts mentions sponsorship, but they came out in pairs on the same day, all open with the same block of shop info, and all hit the self-serve bar, the roomy clean interior, the lack of porky smell and the friendly staff in the same order. They may be commissioned posts.
- Opening hours: three posts give 10:30-21:30 with last order at 21:00, but all three copied this from the listing. Two say there is a 15:00-17:00 break on weekends only. No post says which day, if any, it closes.
- One post said being on the main road made it easy on foot or by public transport. Another gave directions from Jeonpo Station (exits 5 and 7) and Seomyeon Station (exit 2) without saying which way they came.
- We don't know about waits; no post says they queued or that they walked straight in.
- We don't know who people came with: two posts mention 'the two of us' or 'my companion' without saying who. No one came with children, and one post's copied listing says both 'high chairs' and 'no kids zone', which contradict each other.
- Prices come mostly from one post that copied the menu in September 2026; the October post's 10,500 won lean-meat gukbap and 6,000 won dumplings match it. One post worked out 27,000 won for two (13,500 each) for two bowls and a plate of dumplings.
- Two posts give the phone number 0507-1341-1036 and one gives 051-804-1030. Reservations appear only in copied listing text; nobody says they booked.
