Heungbu Dwaeji Gukbap
흥부돼지국밥 Heungbu is the kind-hearted younger brother of the Korean folktale Heungbu and Nolbu; dwaeji gukbap is Busan's pork-and-rice soup.

A pork-soup house on Jeonpo-daero 200beon-gil in Jeonpo-dong, Busan — yet every post we read went for the iron-plate braised pork ribs. We read three posts, from 28 September to 5 October 2026, and all three ordered the ribs. Two put them at 55,000 won; the do-it-yourself fried rice to finish is 3,000 won, the boiled-pork set 13,000 won, and pork soup starts at 10,000 won. All three were written within eight days and follow the same sequence (parking, dining room, kimchi-for-sale sign, torched cheese, udon, fried rice) without disclosing sponsorship, so they may be promotional; weigh the counts accordingly.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- All three posts said the rib dish is large. One said the meat seemed never to run out; a family of adults and two children shared it alongside a boiled-pork set.
- All three called the ribs spicy but manageable — one likened it to Yeul Ramyun, two said the cheese on top softens the heat. The family post ordered the non-spicy boiled-pork set for the children.
- One post said staff cooked the ribs through, cut them and took the meat off the bone; another mentioned staff torching the cheese at the table.
- All three found the room clean and two called it spacious; one pointed to wood-toned tables and Hanja-and-Hangul wall decoration, unlike an old-style soup house.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
No post described the floor from experience; only the address says ground floor.
We don't know whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in; even the family post doesn't say. That is silence, not a no.
No post says where the toilet is or whether it is split by sex.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- One post said it is an easy walk from Jeonpo Station; another's 'Exit 8, Jeonpo Station' is copied listing text.
- No post reports waiting. One said customers kept coming, another found free tables in the early evening; we have no wait times, and no one mentioned reservations.
- Company doesn't converge: one family visit, one with an acquaintance, one unstated. One post saw solo diners and work groups.
- Two posts list hours as 11:00-22:00 daily, one adding 'open every day of the year', but both copied it from the listing; none mentions a break or last order.
- Prices come only from two October 2026 posts, and none judged them dear or cheap; no one totalled a meal.
- The phone number 0507-1390-8038 appears in one post only; we don't know whether bookings are taken.
