Cheombeong
첨벙 Cheombeong is the Korean sound of a splash, something plunging into water; the shop leans on a seaside fish-market look with nets and buoys at the door.

An aged-raw-fish house on Seojeon-ro 47beon-gil in Jeonpo-dong, between Jeonpo and Bujeon stations. The signature is the two-person assorted tray at 65,000 won: salmon, flatfish, red sea bream and mullet with fried eel, gochujang barley bibimbap, sushi rice, sauces and a spicy fish stew, all on one big tray. It is an evening drinking spot; the hours copied into posts are 5 pm on weekdays, 4 pm on weekends, to 1 am. We read 30 posts from 22 April to 17 October 2026, 20 of them actual visits. We set aside four posts about the separate Gwangalli branch of the same name and several that only used the word for a splash.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Thick slices are the most repeated point: 12 of the 20 visits say so. One regular found them too thick last time and asked staff to cut them thinner, which they did.
- Waits depend on the day and hour. Seven posts waited: 5 minutes on a weekday evening, three parties at 6:30 on a weekday, three parties on a Saturday evening, 30 minutes, and about an hour on weekends. Five walked straight in, four of them on weekdays. Several advise queuing on CatchTable; one notes a waiting area out front.
- Eight posts say shrimp chips arrive free as soon as you sit, and five say the water is barley or hovenia tea rather than plain water. Several mention a handful of candy at the till.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 4 of 20 posts |
|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 2 (of 20 posts read) |
| Toilet inside | 2 of 20 posts |
Seating is split between the entrance level and a half-floor up inside; four posts describe it, one counting eight tables below and three above. Several say the round tables seat about four.
Two posts place it on the ground floor; none mention a basement.
Nobody reported a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller; 'wheelchair accessible' appears only in one copied info block. Three posts mention steps up to the inner seating.
Two posts say the toilet is inside the shop. Whether it is split by gender is unclear; one post called it 'semi-separated'.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 21 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Six posts went with friends; one each went with parents, a boyfriend, or a group of five. No one brought children, and one post felt the seating was not suited to kids.
- Portions split five to three: five found it generous, three said the fish itself is small for the price.
- Prices moved over time: the 3-4 person platter was 76,000 won in an April 2026 post and 85,000 won in four posts from September and October. The two-person-plus-salmon-roll set is 76,000 won in two posts and 67,000 in one sponsored post. One post called it pricey; three said it is not cheap but fair for what comes on the tray.
- A two-hour table limit: one post met it on a weekend and one states it; two others only heard of it, and one says it was not enforced on a weekday.
- Seventeen visits list hours, almost all copied. Thirteen agree on 5 pm weekdays, 4 pm weekends, closing at 1 am, last order at midnight; four give 5 pm to 1 am daily without the earlier weekend start. No one mentions a closing day, which means nobody wrote one down, not that there is none.
- The phone number 010-3870-8312 appears in many posts. One booked through Naver, got no confirmation and sorted it by phone; the rest recommend joining the CatchTable or Tabling queue instead.
- Three posts say it is a short walk from Jeonpo station exit 7 or Bujeon station exit 2. Nobody mentions taking a bus.
- Eleven visit posts cluster in six days, 23-28 September 2026, with similar keyword-stuffed phrasing and the same 'date spot' sign-off; only one discloses sponsorship. We did not count the Gwangalli branch of the same name, and posts disagree on which shop is the original.
