보몽드 Bomongdeu Beau monde is French for 'the fashionable world' (literally 'beautiful world'); the posts describe a European-garden-style café, but none explains the name.

Beaumonde is a large bakery café at 19-7 Gugi-gil, Jangan-eup, Gijang, Busan: a two-storey main building set in roughly 33,000 square metres of garden. It sells coffee, ades, smoothies and pastries, plus meals such as pizza, pasta and salad. Prices in visit posts include 9,000 won for a hallabong smoothie, 7,800 won for a cappuccino, 25,000 won for the gorgonzola-honey squid-ink pizza and 19,000 won for a Cobb chicken salad. You park below and either walk up or ride a pink shuttle bus, and a free purple mini-train runs around the garden. What we describe as current comes from posts dated June 2026 onward. The one December 2024 post shows no train and a separate no-kids seating area. Most September–October 2026 posts are about the Halloween decorations and haunted house. We read 30 posts from December 2024 to October 2026; 25 describe an actual visit.

What sets it apart
- Four posts say each person must order a drink or item. One warns that with several people the drinks plus pastries add up quickly; another says pastries don't count toward the per-person drink.
- Six posts say young children were frightened by the autumn 2026 Halloween set-up — moving, noisy figures and a haunted house in a separate outdoor building. Several posts relay a sign barring children and the elderly from the haunted house.
- Nine posts call it expensive, though several say it makes sense if you treat it as including an entry fee. One balked at 30,000 won for a pizza. Bubble wands were 6,000 won in two posts; Halloween headbands were 6,000 won in one post and 10,000 won in another. The December 2024 post wondered about the price but didn't conclude.
- Three posts found things very sweet. One left food unfinished because the bread, cake and drinks were all too sweet; others said the same of the breads in general and of the hallabong smoothie.

Nineteen posts used the car park, mostly calling it spacious, but three found it full on weekends or holidays and were waved to roadside parking by attendants. The walk up to the main building is uphill; posts put it at 2, 3, 5, or 5–10 minutes. The shuttle takes about a minute.

Fifteen posts mention upstairs seating, and the second floor is where the overflow goes. One visitor found the ground floor full and went up; another noted plenty of free seats upstairs after 4 p.m. on a weekend. One family stayed downstairs because of their baby. Nine posts remark on the high ceiling.
Posts describe a ground floor and a second floor; none mentions a basement. That means no one wrote about one, not that there isn't one — we don't know.
No one says whether the entrance has a step or whether there is a lift, so we don't know. Several posts describe the path up from the car park as uphill. One said it looked awkward with a stroller; another walked it with a 15-month-old. A note that wheelchair users can be dropped at the main gate is copied house information, so we don't rely on it.
Four posts say the toilets are indoors and separated by sex. An October 2026 post puts the men's on the ground floor and the women's on the second floor. Another notes the nursing room is inside the upstairs women's toilet and wished it were in a shared space. A December 2024 post placed both toilets upstairs.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The December 2024 post mentions a no-kids area for quiet seating. Posts from August 2026 on say babies are welcome on the second floor too and that every area is kid-friendly with supervision. The no-kids area appears to have gone in between; we don't know exactly when.
- Mini-train hours have changed: June 2026 listed 11:30–15:00 weekdays and 11:30–20:00 weekends (August still said 20:00), while October posts list 11:30–18:00 weekdays and 11:00–21:00 on weekends and holidays. All agree it runs an hour, then rests 30 minutes. Neither the train nor the shuttle appears in the December 2024 post; one post mentions a renovation and reopening in between.
- No post arrived by bus or subway. One says it is so remote, past an industrial park, that you can't get there without a car. We don't know the public-transport route.
- No post queued for a seat, though weekend visitors say it was crowded and the ground floor was full. The queue is for the mini-train: on weekends people lined up well before the 2 p.m. run and the line was long; on a weekday one family boarded without waiting.
- Fourteen posts give opening hours, all copied from listings, and they agree: daily 10:00–24:00, drinks last order 23:30, food last order 20:30; two say there is no regular closing day. Only one post describes a late visit, on a Saturday night.
- Most prices come from August–October 2026 posts. The only December 2024 prices are the Beaumonde pizza (25,000 won) and bacon cream pasta (19,500 won), so we can't tell whether prices rose in between. One post mentions 30% off bakery items after 7 p.m.
- Four posts copy the phone number as 0507-1409-6737; one gives 051-727-6737. No post called ahead or booked. A note that Naver bookings get a free levain cookie is copied promotion.
- We didn't count five posts. Two are single entries in café round-ups; three follow the same template — size, train, bakery, info block — with no first-hand detail, one of them disclosing affiliate commissions. Claims about Blue Ribbon awards, TV appearances and a hotel-trained pâtissier come from the house or hearsay, so we don't rely on them.
