YOUR TYPE

유어타입 Yueotaip The name is the English phrase "your type" written in Hangul.

Compiled from 20 blog posts read in fullSources →

Yourtype's flagship is a brunch restaurant on the second floor above an optician at 157 Gwangnam-ro, a short walk from Gwangalli Beach in Busan. Plates such as galettes, blue-cheese cream gnocchi, an apple-and-cheese baguette and a house ratatouille run 14,000-18,000 won; an Americano is 4,000. In 2026 you order and pay by QR code at the table. We read 30 posts from 22 November 2024 to 16 October 2026: 20 describe a visit, 7 are list or roundup posts, and 3 were about the separate Jeonpo branch and were set aside.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.

What sets it apart

  1. Ten posts call the room spacious and none call it cramped. One November 2024 visitor counted three sunny window tables, six for two to four, and one for six; a September 2026 post said the tables felt generously spaced. One post notes there is only one six-seat table, so larger groups should check ahead.
  2. Three posts saw mostly foreign diners: one weekend morning in April 2025 put it at about 60 percent, and two October 2026 posts said nearly everyone else was foreign — one said they were the only Koreans. A fourth only guessed.
  3. Five posts say prices are fair and none call them high; one felt it wasn't special for the money. Recorded bills: 32,500 won for a galette, gnocchi and a discounted Americano (April 2025), and 41,500 for gnocchi, French toast, scrambled egg and two Americanos (September 2026).
  4. Five posts got something for posting a review: an Americano or a cola in three 2026 posts, a cookie and drip-bag coffee in June 2025, and a prize from an Instagram story draw in November 2024.

  1. Two posts found the shrimp tomato stew spicy; one says it is a bit too hot for children.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Getting inside

Separate restrooms2 of 20 posts

Seven posts describe climbing to the second floor; you go up the building stairs beside the ground-floor optician. Three posts say it is easy to miss from the street.

Access is by stairs — four posts climbed the building staircase to the second floor. Nobody mentions a lift, a step at the door, or arriving with a wheelchair or pushchair; that is unknown, not confirmed absent.

Two posts say the toilet is inside the restaurant, and two say it is split by gender.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 27 posts we gathered, 7 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Ordering has changed. In November 2024 you paid at the counter; three posts from 2025 describe tablets, though in April 2025 only some tables had one. All seven posts from September-October 2026 ordered by QR code at the table.
  • Waits vary. One post queued behind a single party at about 2 p.m. on a Sunday and watched the line grow; another, around 1 p.m. on a weekday, didn't wait at all. Three only saw the waiting-list machine or guessed. One mentions a waiting bench at the door. No one recorded how many minutes they waited.
  • Portions split three to one: three posts found them large — half an apple sandwich can fill a light eater — while one found them on the small side.
  • Only one post describes walking from Gwangan Station; the '578 m from exit 3' figure in other posts is copied from the listing.
  • Opening hours appear in twelve posts, all copied from the listing, and they shift over time: closing at 18:00 weekdays, 22:00 Saturday and 19:00 Sunday in November 2024; 18:00/19:00 in April 2025; 17:30/18:30 in mid-2025. Seven 2026 posts give 17:35, six of them as Monday-Saturday 17:35 and Sunday 18:35; one October 2026 post repeated the old 18:00/19:00. Every post has it opening at 9 a.m.
  • Prices have mostly held, with a few discrepancies: banana pancakes went from 14,000 won (June 2025 menu) to 14,500 (October 2026), and the grilled-vegetable Caesar is listed at both 14,000 and 15,000. The 2,000-won Americano before 11 a.m. appears only in 2025 posts; 2026 posts paid 4,000, so we don't know if it still runs. A July 2025 post relayed a notice that a free morning coffee offered for four years had ended.
  • Nine posts give the same phone number, 0507-1355-7376. Reservations appear only in one copied listing; no one says they booked. A July 2025 post saw a CatchTable waiting-list kiosk at the entrance.
  • Pets are unclear: two copied listings (April 2025, September 2026) say dogs are welcome, but a 27 September 2026 post was told they no longer are.
