Mipojip
미포집 Mipo is the small harbour at the east end of Haeundae Beach where the original branch stands, and jip means house — 'the Mipo house'; this is its Gwangalli branch.
Compiled from 18 blog posts read in fullSources →
Mipojip's Gwangalli branch sits right on the beach, on the second floor of the Olive Young building on Gwanganhaebyeon-ro. It serves soy-marinated seafood and pot rice. The signature set, eight kinds of marinated seafood with a rice pot, seaweed soup and sides, costs 43,000 won per person, and two posts said it must be ordered for at least two. Rice pots on their own run 22,000–40,000 won. You scoop the rice out and pour water into the pot for scorched-rice tea at the end. The original branch is in Mipo, Haeundae. We read 30 posts dated 12 July to 8 October 2026. Ten were about the Haeundae branch or the café upstairs and were set aside, two were list entries, and 18 record actually eating here.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- The windows face Gwangan Bridge head-on. Twelve posts mention the windows or a window seat. Eight say there is floor seating, and one notes that the best bridge view is from the floor-seated tables. Another says the window seats are always in demand, so go early. A regular of several years always picks a chair table instead to spare their knees and back.
- Fourteen posts say the marinated seafood is not salty. One noticed that after eating two-thirds of the seafood, more than half the rice was still left. The single post calling something salty meant the bulgogi-and-octopus rice pot, not the marinated seafood. Two posts noted a gentle sweetness. The '40-year secret fruit soy sauce' line is the house's own claim, so we don't rely on it.
- Many come back. Six posts describe a repeat visit: a third visit, 'went again', 'about ten visits'. One regular grumbled that in years of coming, not a single side dish has changed. Two posts say side dishes are refilled.
- Four posts describe going with family, and three of them say a hard-to-please mother or parents ate well. Two were dates. Three posts mention high chairs, and one counted three.
2 more
- Six posts noticed many foreign diners. Three saw foreign-language menus or signs in several languages. One saw Fan Bingbing's autograph hung at the entrance. Other posts repeat that she visited, but only as hearsay, so we don't count those.
- No post describes a long wait. One got straight in on a weekend. One waited about five minutes despite booking. A regular says there is hardly any wait except on weekends, and another found the wait far shorter than at the Haeundae branch. One explains that the waitlist sends your number by KakaoTalk. Three posts booked ahead.

Parking
5 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

If you park at the G-Well lot, two or three minutes' walk away, the house pays part of the fee. Five posts say so. Three say one hour, one says '3,000 won', and one gives no amount. One post says you collect the ticket at the counter after eating. Another warns that the Busanjip lot across the street is not covered, and a third paid full price elsewhere because they didn't know about the deal.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

|---|---|

| Lift to the floor | yes 0 · no 1 (of 18 posts read) |
| Toilet inside | 1 of 18 posts |
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 18 posts |
Nine posts place it on the second floor. One says you climb stairs, and one says there is no elevator. Nobody mentioned a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That doesn't mean you can't, only that we don't know.
One post puts the restroom inside, to the right of the entrance, and one says it is split by gender. Two mention mouthwash in the restroom. No one mentioned an accessible restroom.
No one mentioned: Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 20 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Every opening-hours figure is copied from the house listing, and they disagree. Most say it opens at 11:00, but two say 10:00. Closing time is split between 21:00 every day and 22:00 on weekends. Several give a break of 15:00–17:00 on weekdays and 15:30–16:30 on weekends, and most put last order at 20:00. No one gave a closing day, so check before you go.
- The set is 43,000 won a head, 86,000 won for two. Three posts call it on the pricey side and none call it cheap. One writer thought it expensive until the table was laid. Six posts mention a free house drink for writing a review.
- Nine posts give the phone number as 0507-1434-9893. One list post gave 051-751-9888, and no other post uses it. One post copied that bookings go through Naver, and three booked ahead.
- Some posts look like they came from one template. Ten posts from 16 September to 8 October carry the same online-store blurb. Only three disclose sponsorship, and seven say nothing. Four state, by receipt or title, that they paid their own way. One post says the seasonal rice pots were replaced by a premium line but doesn't say when.
