Compiled from 20 blog posts read in fullSources →

A bakery cafe on the 15th floor of the Hotel Guess Who building (181 Gwanganhaebyeon-ro), right on Gwangalli Beach, with a rooftop one floor up. People come for coffee and pastries in front of floor-to-ceiling windows facing Gwangan Bridge; after 5 p.m. the rooftop also sells pizza and beer. Few posts gave prices: americano 5,800 won, fresh juice 12,000 won, chocolate baguette 7,500 won. We read 30 posts from June 11 to October 8, 2026; 20 describe an actual visit, 3 only list it among other cafes, and 7 were about other businesses in the same building or elsewhere and were set aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Fourteen of the 20 visit posts mention the rooftop. It is reached by an inside staircase, and one post says the elevator goes there too. A June 2026 post says pizza and beer started up there that month; later posts say they are sold after 5 p.m. One August visitor found it empty at midday because of the heat.
  2. Thirteen posts describe the window seats, set facing the sea. They are contested: one writer sat in the middle and waited to move once a window seat opened, another found them all taken on a weekday.
  3. Several writers say the view matters more than the food: two called the drinks and pastries merely average, saying the bridge view is the real draw, and one said the coffee wasn't good. Against that, one post singled out the wakppu salt bun and another the gold kiwi cake.
  4. Three posts say Geumnyeonsan Station is closer than Gwangan Station; one puts it at about an eight-minute walk from Exit 1.

Parking

6 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park6 of 20 posts

Six posts describe parking first-hand. You use the Hotel Guess Who lot across from the back of the building and register your receipt at the counter for 90 minutes free. One post notes an open lot plus a parking tower that takes large cars; another got free valet. The rate after 90 minutes (1,000 won per 10 minutes) appears only in one copied info block.

Getting inside

Second floor1 of 20 posts
Lift to the floor8 of 20 posts
Step-free access1 of 20 posts
Separate restrooms1 of 20 posts

The cafe is on the 15th floor and the rooftop on the 16th; no post mentions any basement level.

Eight posts say they rode the elevator to the 15th floor. One says the restrooms are to the right as the doors open and the cafe entrance to the left.

No one mentions whether there is a step at the entrance. One post says wheelchair access is easy because there are two elevators and one reaches the rooftop, but nobody actually went in with a wheelchair or stroller. The 'wheelchair accessible' line in another post was copied from the listing, so we did not count it.

Only one post mentions the restrooms: separate men's and women's rooms to the right of the elevator, with the cafe entrance to the left — so they seem to be in the lobby rather than inside the cafe, but that is not certain. Nobody mentions an accessible restroom.

No one mentioned: In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 23 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

2026-10-012 posts in one day

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No post describes queuing. Two say there was no wait — around 7 p.m. on a weekend, and at opening on a weekday. One weekend visitor found it too crowded to photograph inside but did not mention waiting.
  • Only three posts make their company clear: two went as a couple, one with friends. None went with children, so we know nothing about high chairs or visiting with kids.
  • Only one post mentions the staff, and it found them unfriendly — a single account.
  • The evening bread discount comes from shop notices and changed over time: a July 2026 post says 30% off from 6 p.m. (not Saturdays), two September posts say 20% after 8 p.m. (cakes and wakppu items excluded). One hotel guest got 10% off with a room key.
  • All opening hours are copied from info blocks. Twelve posts agree on 09:00-24:00 and nine on a 23:45 last order. One August 2026 post alone gave a 10:00 opening and 1 a.m. closing on Fridays and Saturdays; posts before and after say 09:00, so we cannot tell whether it changed. One listing post cites the hotel website's 23:30 last order.
  • Prices are rarely written down. Two posts found it expensive (a 12,000-won watermelon juice blamed on the view), one said it wasn't, and two didn't conclude. No post gives a total per person, and prices shown only in menu photos are unknown to us.
  • Four posts give the phone number 0507-1351-8969, one gives 051-757-1818, and one listing post cites 051-752-8880 from the hotel website. Nobody says whether reservations are taken.
