Gwangan Dwaejigukbap Gwangan Pocha
광안돼지국밥 광안포차 Gwangan is the Gwangalli beach neighbourhood; dwaeji gukbap is Busan's pork-and-rice soup and pocha is short for pojangmacha, a casual drinking spot — the soup house is on the 3rd floor and the pub on the 4th.

A pork-soup house and Korean pub sharing the 3rd and 4th floors of the Hotel Guess Who building on Gwangalli beach in Busan: the 3rd floor serves dwaeji gukbap, the 4th is a pub called Gwangan Pocha, and an inside staircase joins them. Downstairs, pork, blood-sausage and offal soups were 11,000 won and the boiled-pork set 15,000 won; upstairs people ate pancake platters, pork with tofu and kimchi, and spicy squid salad with fruit makgeolli. The view of Gwangan Bridge through the windows comes up more than anything else. The current name appears from September 2026; one post from a March 2026 visit described the same space as a pub called Guess Who Gwangan Jumak. We read 30 posts dated 5 September to 8 October 2026. We set aside 13 that were about the café on the 15th floor, the hotel, or the ground-floor restaurant; of the remaining 17, 16 describe a visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Eleven posts said the window seats face Gwangan Bridge head-on; one described the 4th floor as glass along an entire wall. A weekend-morning visitor found the sun blinding by the window and suggested sitting further in during the day.
- Eight posts called the room large. One listed the seating in detail — wooden tables along the window, sofa booths in the middle, long group tables at the back — and several noted the generous spacing between tables.
- You order from a device rather than a server. Six posts said so: three on the pub floor ordered at the table (two named a tablet), while of three on the soup floor one mentioned a tablet and two a kiosk.
- The soup floor has a self-serve side-dish bar; four posts topped up their sides there, and one was pleased to find mild green peppers alongside the hot ones.
2 more
- Five posts said the soup and boiled pork had no porky smell; one, after the blood-sausage soup, said the broth did carry a slight one.
- Seven posts said the prices were fair. September 2026 posts list pork, blood-sausage and offal soup at 11,000 won, mixed soup at 12,000, the boiled-pork set at 15,000, pub set C at 50,000 and peach makgeolli at 14,000. Soups come with rice and noodles.

Parking
5 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Parking is in the Guess Who lot behind the building, as five posts said in their own words. Many posts repeat the house notice that soup diners get up to an hour and pub guests up to three hours, matched to time spent — copied, not tested. One post was told you register the car at the counter.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

It is upstairs, not below ground: seven posts went up to the 3rd or 4th floor, five of them by lift, and two said an inside staircase connects the two floors.
We know very little about step-free access. One parent advised using the rear entrance with a pushchair; nobody wrote about a threshold at the door. The only link between the two floors anyone mentioned is a staircase.
One post found the toilet on the 4th floor, and the March post said it was inside and clean. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in two copied listings, so we did not count them.
No one mentioned: Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 17 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- On the pub floor a few complimentary side dishes arrive before the food — six posts mention them, including the March post under the old name. The kimchi, radish and peppers that come with the soups downstairs are part of the soup setting and are not counted here.
- The place has been renamed. A post from a 28 March 2026 visit called it Guess Who Gwangan Jumak, a pub open 17:00 to 01:00. Six posts from September on say it became Gwangan Dwaejigukbap & Gwangan Pocha, and one adds that it was recently renovated and now looks very clean. We did not carry the March opening hours forward, and the March prices (seafood stew 35,000 won and so on) are listed only as prices from that time.
- Opening hours differ by floor. Thirteen posts give the soup floor as 09:00 to 01:00 the next day, eight of them with last orders at midnight; six give the pub floor as 17:00 to 01:00. Most of this is copied from the house listing. No post mentions a closing day, and several say it opens daily.
- No post describes arriving by subway or bus. The line about Geumnyeonsan Station exit 1 being 539 m away is copied from the listing. That doesn't make it hard to reach; nobody actually wrote about doing it.
- No post reports waiting; two — a weekend morning and a Friday evening — said it wasn't busy. We don't know about peak evenings. One writer was told by staff that a window table on fireworks-festival night costs about 700,000 won; that is hearsay and we don't rely on it.
- Several posts give the phone number as 0507-1381-1239. On reservations, only the March post said the window seats needed a Naver booking; the rest just copy the listing's 'reservations' tag.
- Views on heat differ: four posts called the pub dishes (octopus stir-fry, squid salad, seafood stew) spicy, one said the squid salad was mild enough for anyone, and one family said the soup-floor kimchi was gentle enough for children.
- Some posts are promotional. One carries a sponsorship tag and one says it was a free reviewer visit. Several pub-floor posts repeat the same information block in the same order (hours by floor, the 'not automatically three hours' parking note, window seats, set menus), and one still contains a leftover instruction to copy the hashtags. Weigh their praise accordingly.
