Budan's Gwangalli branch is a drinking spot on the second and third floors of the CU building at 195 Gwanganhaebyeon-ro, facing Gwangalli Beach. It serves stews and stir-fries such as sundubu-dan, daemok-maedalgu and cheese jjusaeu for roughly 28,000-35,000 won, and seats you with free toast and whipped cream. Seven of the nine visit posts mention a view of Gwangan Bridge and the sea. We read 30 posts dated 15 January to 7 October 2026. We set aside six that were about the Seomyeon, Nampo or Daegu branches or unrelated, and did not count 13 posts from 15-16 January 2026 that were stamped from one template. The figures below come from the nine visit posts.

Rows without a count: 2 of 3 posts.
Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The window seats look onto Gwangan Bridge: seven of nine visit posts mention the view. One group sent to the third floor on a full Friday at 8 p.m. thought the view was even better there; another arrived around 5:45 p.m. on a Friday for a window seat, found the place empty, and advises coming before 6. That post was told window seats cannot be booked in advance (hearsay).
- Three posts say the free starter is toasted bread with whipped cream; one compared it to what student-era cafes used to give out.
- No post reports waiting. Two say they walked straight in: one at about 5:45 p.m. on a Friday, another both at 7 p.m. on a Friday and late on a Saturday. The other posts did not mention waiting.
- Four posts went with friends, three with a partner, one with a group of colleagues for a farewell. One table of four got through about 12 bottles of soju; another stopped at two soju and four beers.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 2 of 9 posts |

| Lift to the floor | 1 of 9 posts |
| Toilet inside | 1 of 9 posts |
| Separate restrooms | yes 0 · no 1 (of 9 posts read) |
The bar takes the second and third floors. Two posts describe getting up: via the passage on the left of the CU building by stairs or elevator, and up a narrow staircase to the second floor. Two more mention being seated on the third floor.
No one wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. One post mentions an elevator, another a narrow staircase. That means unknown, not step-free.
Only one post describes the toilet: on the same floor, unisex, and clean. One more says the restroom was clean. Whether every floor has one is unknown.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 24 posts we gathered, 15 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
| 2026-01-16 | 3 posts in one day |
|---|---|
| 2026-01-15 | 10 posts in one day |
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Only one post covers public transport: a ten-minute walk from Geumnyeonsan Station exit 1.
- Posts differ on the windows: an October 2026 visitor regretted they could not be opened, while a February visitor found them all open. One post took photos from a terrace seat. Whether this depends on season or seat is unknown.
- All opening hours are copied from the shop's listing. Two posts (September and October) agree on 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Sunday to Thursday and 4 p.m.-3 a.m. Friday and Saturday; a July post gives just 4 p.m.-2 a.m. A September roundup copied different hours (4 p.m.-3 a.m. Sunday to Friday, 3 p.m.-3 a.m. Saturday, last order 2 a.m.). Check before going.
- Prices come almost entirely from one July 2026 post copying the menu: cheese jjusaeu and daemok-maedalgu 35,000 won, beef tendon 30,000, sundubu-dan 28,000, soju 5,500. That post felt dishes starting in the high 20,000s seemed pricey but were justified by the view. A September roundup lists lower figures (jjapaghetti with green-onion kimchi 10,000, drinking udon 10,000), so we cannot tell which is current. No post gives a per-person total.
- Two posts give the phone number 0507-1372-8748. No one wrote about making a reservation; the claim that window seats cannot be booked is hearsay in a single post.
- Thirteen posts from random accounts on 15-16 January 2026 all use the lot address 197-19 Gwangan-dong, repeat lines like 'generous spacing between tables', leave 'OO' where dish names should be, or describe cream pasta, gambas and seafood platters that are not on this menu. We treat them as commissioned copy and left them out of every count.
