비어배트 Beer Bat - a baseball-themed pub on Gwangalli beach that pours its draft beer into plastic glasses shaped like baseball bats.

Compiled from 18 blog posts read in fullSources →

A baseball-themed beer pub on Gwangalli's beachfront road, across from the sand. Its signature is 720 ml draft beer served in a long plastic glass shaped like a baseball bat; Kelly and Terra are listed at 8,900 won. The most-ordered food is the boiling seafood platter (39,900 won, four posts), alongside pasta, wings and pizza. People drink with a view of Gwangan Bridge from the terrace or inside, and several watched the Saturday drone show or yacht fireworks from here. We read 23 posts from July 2025 to September 2026; one was about a different restaurant upstairs, and all other 22 describe actual visits. Sixteen are multi-stop travel diaries, so we counted only the Beer Bat passages.

What sets it apart

  1. Six posts mention an outdoor terrace. Two found it full and sat inside (one moved in once an indoor seat opened), one grabbed the last free outdoor table, and one chose indoors because a friend felt cold. One post said the big windows were thrown open, so indoor seats still face out.
  2. Of the posts that say who they came with: seven with friends, six with a partner or spouse, two alone, two with family. One solo visitor finished the beer but not the pasta. One family was travelling with a nine-month-old, but the post doesn't say whether the baby came in.
  3. Two posts found it loud - one said the music was so loud it was draining, another visited on a drone-show rehearsal day and found it noisy. No post called it quiet.
  4. Three posts got something through the receipt-review event: a free highball, a plate of fries (described as huge), and extra snacks alongside a Naver coupon.

  1. Two posts called it expensive: one balked at 18,900 won for Heineken or Blanc and found the snacks small for the price; the other noted having to pay for bottled water. Both added that the food tasted good and the ocean view made up for it.

Getting inside

Separate restrooms1 of 18 posts

No post describes the floor or any stairs from experience. The '1st floor' in the address is copied, so we didn't count it.

No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That means nobody wrote about it, not that it's impossible.

Nobody says whether the toilet is inside the pub. One post (July 2025) said there are separate men's and women's toilets.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Portions are disputed: two posts found the beer or pasta generous, one found the snacks small for the price.
  • Two posts found dishes spicy - the boiling seafood platter and the aglio olio with Vietnamese chili. One of them described themselves as spice-averse.
  • Two posts mention public transport and they differ: one says it's three minutes from the Gwangil Mansion bus stop, the other found it a fair walk from the subway station.
  • No post reports waiting for a table. Some did say it was busy - one ended up at the back, away from the windows, and others found the terrace full.
  • Three posts give opening hours and all three differ, all copied from listings: 11:30-03:00 (July 2025), 16:00-02:00 with last order at 01:00 (a November 2025 visit), and Mon-Thu 16:00-02:00, Fri-Sun 12:00-02:00 (May 2026). We can't tell whether the hours changed or were copied wrong.
  • Only the bat beer price (8,900 won for Kelly or Terra) is consistent across posts. Most food prices come from a single post, and the aglio olio is listed at 19,900 won in July 2025 but 16,900 won in December 2025. No post gives a total bill.
  • Only one post (July 2025) gives a phone number, 0507-1438-7932. No post says whether reservations are taken.
