Cafe
Bienna Keopi Gwangalli-jeom
비엔나커피 광안리점 Vienna coffee is what Korean cafes call espresso or cold brew under a thick cap of whipped cream (an Einspänner); the house is named after its signature drink.
Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →
A hanok-styled cafe on the second floor of 165 Gwanganhaebyeon-ro, facing Gwangalli Beach. Its namesake Vienna coffee, espresso under a thick cream cap, is 8,000 won; americano is 6,000 won hot and 6,500 iced, and slices of cake run about 8,500. The seaward wall folds open, so you drink looking straight at Gwangan Bridge. Most recent posts say it now stays open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays; posts up to June 2026 gave 23:00 every day. We read 30 posts dated 12 March to 3 October 2026, of which 23 describe an actual visit; five were about other cafes and two only listed the name.

Rows without a count: 5 of 16 posts.
Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Sixteen of the 23 visit posts mention the window wall. They describe the front folding doors thrown fully open, with sea air coming in even though you are indoors, and one post found them open on an overcast day too. One post found the window seats full all through a weekday afternoon; others sat further back and moved over when a window seat freed up.
- Eleven posts mention the receipt-review offer: spend 15,000 won or more, post a receipt review, and you get a madeleine. Three posts got a lemon madeleine; one got a financier instead.
- Six posts ordered at a kiosk. One liked the photo menu; another noted there is only one kiosk, which made ordering for a group awkward with people waiting behind.
- Three posts either brought a dog or saw one inside. One noticed pet diapers on the menu at 500 won each. The rule that dogs must be in a stroller or carrier is hearsay in the posts, so we did not count it.

Parking
4 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.
| Posts saying you can park | 4 of 23 posts |

Four posts used the basement car park or got the parking voucher; three of them came by car. Spending 20,000 won gets an hour's voucher, then it is 500 won per 10 minutes. One writer admits buying cake partly to reach the threshold. An April 2026 post recalls the threshold being 15,000 won on an earlier visit, since raised to 20,000.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 13 of 23 posts |
|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 13 (of 23 posts read) |
| Lift to the floor | 4 of 23 posts |
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 3 (of 23 posts read) |
Thirteen posts went up to the second floor, four of them by the building's shop elevator from the ground floor. From the elevator you walk past a claw-machine arcade to the back. Posts mention a small sign that is easy to miss, and one writer got thoroughly lost looking for the door.
No post describes getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. 'Wheelchair-accessible entrance' appears only in copied listing text. Four posts confirm the shop elevator reaches the second floor, but nobody said whether the door has a step. That means we don't know, not that there isn't one.
The toilet is outside the cafe: three posts say it is down the corridor to the right, and one says to take tissue from the wall by the counter first. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied listing text, so we did not rely on it.
No one mentioned: Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 25 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Seven posts call the drinks or cakes sweet, mostly approvingly, but one found the matcha cream drink so sweet that neither the coffee nor the matcha came through.
- Accounts of size differ: three posts say the room is not large, one calls it spacious. Seven posts describe the seating, two-tops, four-tops and a long group table. On the chairs, one post found them comfortable and one did not.
- Two posts found it expensive, one calling the prices a charge for the view. The same hazelnut chocolate cake appears at 8,500 won in two posts and 8,900 in one, so cake prices need checking. A coffee and a slice come to roughly 15,000 won a head.
- Only one post describes the trip by public transport, saying both bus stops and the subway are about five minutes' walk. Figures like '537 m from Geumnyeonsan Station exit 1' are copied listing text.
- No post describes queuing to get in. Several found the window seats taken, but none waited to be seated, including one visit on a Saturday drone-show evening.
- Opening hours shift over time. Posts up to June 2026 give 10:00–23:00 daily; from 21 August most give 23:00 Sunday to Thursday and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Nearly all of these are copied listing text, though; only one writer read the Friday–Saturday midnight closing off the sign at the door. In August and September three posts still say 23:00 daily and one says 22:00. No post mentions a closing day.
- Eleven posts list the phone number 0507-1351-9326. None says anything about taking or making a reservation.
- Of the 23 visit posts, two disclose sponsorship, one says it was given a voucher, and six show their own receipts. The other fourteen say nothing; several follow the same layout and repeat the same parking wording, so some may be commissioned.
