A beef-head soup house on the gukbap alley (Gupositjang 3-gil) inside Gupo Market in Buk-gu, Busan. Broth simmers in cauldrons out front and each order is reboiled in an earthenware bowl; the menu runs from beef-head, blood-curd, sugure and mixed soups to pork soup and boiled meat. Posts from April 2026 on list beef-head soup at 12,000 won, sugure soup at 9,000 won and blood-curd soup at 7,000 won. Besides tables inside, there is seating out on the market lane. We read 20 posts from 19 October 2025 to 20 October 2026; 17 of them describe an actual meal there.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- Eight posts said the bowls are full of meat — 'half meat, half broth', 'more than half the bowl is meat' — and one said you end up leaving rice. One pair ordered a single bowl to share. One post noted the rice bowl is small on purpose, but more is given free on request.
- Seven posts called it cheap and none called it expensive. One singled out the 7,000-won blood-curd soup; another, written after the 2026 increase, noted the basic soups still stay under 10,000 won.
- Three posts mention seats out on the market lane in front of the shop — a street-side counter and stools. One noted that in winter the outside was empty while the inside was packed. Inside holds about seven or eight tables by one count, and two posts called it noisy.
- Five posts said side dishes are self-serve refills, and two said the station is outside the shop. One visitor was told it was self-serve but could not find where.
4 more
- Three posts said food comes fast — about three minutes in one, five in another.
- Five posts said there is no gamey smell. One found a faint funk in the broth and warned sensitive eaters, and another noted a slight funk in the head meat.
- Two posts queued, both at weekend lunch; one waited 10 to 15 minutes. One went at 10 a.m. on a Saturday with no wait, though the room was full by 11.
- Two posts arrived by public transport — one by bus to Deokcheon Station and then on foot, one by subway. Several describe it as about a five-minute walk from Deokcheon Station exit 1.

Parking

Two posts parked in the Gupo Market public lot and walked in. Several mention there is no dedicated lot, but those lines are copied info blocks, so we did not count them; those blocks also disagree on whether spending 20,000 won earns parking validation.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
Two posts arrived by public transport — one by bus to Deokcheon Station and then on foot, one by subway. Several describe it as about a five-minute walk from Deokcheon Station exit 1.
Getting inside
No post says what floor the shop is on or whether there are steps; they only place it on a market alley.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That means nobody wrote about it, not that access is impossible.
No post describes using a restroom. One info block lists 'restroom: none', but it is copied info and we did not rely on it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 19 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices rose in early 2026. Beef-head soup was 10,000 won in posts from October and December 2025 and 12,000 won in posts from August and October 2026; sugure soup went from 8,000 won in January to 9,000 won from April. A February 2026 post noted the increase. A meal now runs 7,000 to 12,000 won.
- Opening hours: every post through August 2026 gives 05:00 to 20:30, while three October 2026 posts give 05:30 to 20:30 with last order at 20:00, mostly from copied info blocks. Closing days disagree — the 15th of each month in two posts, Mondays in one (hedged), never closed in one. Check before going.
- A January 2026 post said chicken feet and pork skin are no longer on the menu.
- Cleanliness is split: two posts said clean, one had flies around the onions, and one found the dishes and open kitchen clean but chili flakes on the steel tray.
- Eleven posts give the same phone number, 051-341-7328, but none says whether reservations are taken.
