Galbidang

갈비당 Galbidang means 'galbi house' — galbi is grilled ribs and dang is a hall or house; the full sign adds 'charcoal-grilled galbi specialist'.

A charcoal pork-rib house at 60 Gamcheon-ro, Saha-gu, Busan, just below Gamcheon Culture Village. Plain and marinated ribs are 4,500 won per 100g with a 200g minimum first order, and you fry your own kimchi pancakes at the self-serve bar. We read 3 posts, from 21 September to 17 October 2026, all of them first-hand visits. All three appeared within a month with the same headline style and the same running order (price, kimchi pancakes, receipt-review offer), and only one disclosed sponsorship.

What sets it apart

  1. All three posts describe the free-refill self-serve bar: a station with oil and a spatula where you fry kimchi pancakes yourself. One post singled out the shredded green-onion salad as refillable too.
  2. Two posts say the first meat order must be at least 200g, then 100g at a time. One family of three, who had 200g of plain ribs and 800g of marinated, noted a 3,000-won table charge added automatically.
  3. Two posts mention outdoor tables, and the same two say the room is large enough for groups.
  4. One post came with a child. It noted high chairs, wet wipes, child-size spoons and forks, and seats with storage to keep coats from smelling of smoke.

Where it is

Map showing where Galbidang is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No post described the floor or the way in from experience; only the address says ground floor.

Nobody said whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. That means unknown, not absent.

Nobody mentioned where the toilet is or whether it is split by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • All three posts call the prices cheap, but they follow the same template and one disclosed sponsorship. Only one post, a family of three, itemised a full meal.
  • Two posts give the hours as 16:45 to midnight, one as 17:00 to midnight daily. Nobody mentioned a closing day.
  • Phone numbers differ: two posts list 0507-1359-7455, one lists 051-996-7575 for reservations. Booking appears only in a copied info block; no one said they booked.
  • Nobody described getting there by bus or subway; one post said it is a six-minute drive from the Gamcheon Culture Village public car park.
  • No post mentions waiting; one arrived around 5 p.m., right at opening. We do not know what busy hours are like.
  • One post went with family, one with a friend, and one did not say. Too few to say who the place suits.
