JISAEWOODA
지새우다 Jisaeuda Jisaeuda means 'to stay up all night'; one post says the name means a night spent over food and drink, and the word also holds saeu, Korean for shrimp, the thing the house serves.

Jisaeuda Seomyeon is a shrimp-focused drinking spot on two floors of a building in Bujeon-dong, between Seomyeon and Jeonpo stations. Live shrimp from a tank by the door are served raw or salt-roasted on hot stones; the most ordered dishes in visit posts were the raw-and-roasted half-and-half (49,900 won, eight posts) and raw shrimp on its own (medium 34,900 won, eight posts), which comes with fried heads and fried shrimp. We read 30 posts from February to October 2026; 23 describe an actual visit, and 5 were about other businesses, mostly the book cafe on the third floor. Raw shrimp was not on the menu in February or early April; posts eating it start in July.

Rows without a count: 11 of 16 posts.
Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Sixteen posts say seasoned popcorn arrives as the free bar snack, sweet-salty rather than plain; one says it was refilled on request two or three times.
- No post calls it expensive, and four say it is good value: one counted 10 raw, 10 roasted and 2 fried shrimp for the 49,900-won half-and-half, another called the 34,900-won raw plate generous for the price. Only one post gave a total bill: 147,100 won for a group.
- Four posts found the portions large and one found them small. Shrimp size splits too: an October visitor left most of a side dish because the shrimp were so big, while an August visitor noted they were not large.
- Ten posts mention the photo machine near the entrance, which prints two black-and-white sticker shots on the spot. Many also describe a stopwatch game by the door (stop it at exactly 7 seconds for a free dish or drink) and a prize draw at the till.
4 more
- Six posts ordered through a tablet or a QR code at the table.
- No post reports waiting. Two walked straight in, one on a rainy night and one at 11 pm on a weekday with a Naver booking. Others describe the room full by 6 pm on weekdays, so this does not mean there is never a wait at peak times.
- Eight posts went with friends, three on a date, two as a larger group; several were wedding-invitation gatherings or birthdays, and one party of six booked a private room.
- Three posts said it is an easy walk from the station; one took bus 24 to the KEPCO stop in Seomyeon and walked five minutes. The '7–8 minutes from Seomyeon exit 2, 5–6 from Jeonpo exit 7' directions are copied text.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
Three posts said it is an easy walk from the station; one took bus 24 to the KEPCO stop in Seomyeon and walked five minutes. The '7–8 minutes from Seomyeon exit 2, 5–6 from Jeonpo exit 7' directions are copied text.
Getting inside
| Second floor | 21 of 23 posts |
|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 4 (of 23 posts read) |
| Toilet inside | 9 of 23 posts |
| Separate restrooms | 5 of 23 posts |
Twenty-one posts mention the second floor: it is an open double-height space where the upper level looks down on the ground floor, and many note a darts machine upstairs. It is entered at street level; four posts sat on or described the ground floor, and five remarked on the high ceiling.
No post says whether there is a step at the door or describes entering with a wheelchair or stroller; the 'wheelchair accessible entrance' line appears only in copied listing info, which we do not count. The toilets are upstairs via a staircase, and nobody mentions a lift. That means no one wrote about it, not that it is absent.
Nine posts say the toilets are inside, on the second floor, and five say they are separate for men and women. Some note cotton swabs, hair ties and floss laid out in the women's room. One post points out that from the ground floor you climb the central staircase to reach them.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 25 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Four posts found the staff friendly; one said they were far from it.
- Ten posts copy the same opening hours: Mon–Thu 17:00–03:00, Fri–Sun 15:00–03:00, last order 02:00. A February post lists 17:00–03:00 with no closing day, a September post 17:00 daily, and an August post swaps weekdays and weekends. The monthly closing day is the third Monday in three posts and the third Sunday in one. Visits on Sunday afternoons fit the 15:00 weekend opening.
- Five posts copy the phone number 010-6676-1214; one gives 0507-1422-0925 along with a different address. Nobody booked by phone; one couple booked via Naver and one party of six reserved a room.
- Raw shrimp is seasonal. In February 2026 a visitor found none on the menu and had sweet shrimp and yellowtail instead; in early April another was told live shrimp would arrive from April and that the salt-roast used frozen shrimp. Posts eating raw shrimp begin in July, and an October post lists a new buldak raw shrimp at 37,900 won. Prices stayed the same from July to October.
- Two posts disclose sponsorship and three say they paid themselves; the other eighteen visit posts say nothing. Many walk through the same sequence of chandelier, upstairs darts, photo machine, stopwatch game and popcorn, so some are likely sponsored.
