Busan Bokjip
부산복집 Bokjip means a pufferfish (bok) house, so the name simply says Busan pufferfish house.
Compiled from 19 blog posts read in fullSources →
A pufferfish house on Seomyeonmunhwa-ro 25, next to Younggwang Books in Seomyeon, on two floors. A bowl of pufferfish soup (13,000 won for silver pufferfish, 23,000 for wild tiger pufferfish) comes with skin salad, salmon sushi, fried pufferfish and steamed egg; the 30,000-won B course (two or more) runs through more than ten dishes from porridge to hotpot. It now opens at 10:30 (posts up to June 2026 say 10:00). We read 24 posts from July 2025 to October 2026: 19 actual visits, 3 multi-restaurant lists and 2 about the bakery next door.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Ten posts say the portions are large. B-course diners left the final bowl of rice or part of the hotpot, two skipped the rice altogether, and the one C-course diner could not touch the rice either.
- Eleven posts say it is good value and none call it expensive, mostly about the 30,000-won B course; five of those come from the October 2026 cluster noted below.
- Many visitors had the fried pufferfish and six called it crisp; several note it comes even with a single bowl of soup.

There is no own lot. Many posts copy the notice that the neighbouring Younggwang and Munhwa car parks are validated for an hour with a course and 30 minutes with a meal; two writers actually drove and used it.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 13 of 19 posts |
|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 7 (of 19 posts read) |
| Toilet inside | 1 of 19 posts |
| Separate restrooms | yes 0 · no 1 (of 19 posts read) |
Thirteen posts mention a second floor and nine mention private rooms. Seven describe the ground-floor hall as well; nobody mentions a basement. One post says the second floor is all rooms, others describe a large group hall up there. One writer notes you keep your shoes on.
Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance, wheelchair or stroller access, or a lift, and nobody says how you get to the second floor. That means we do not know, not that there is none.
Toilets are disputed: the one writer who described them saw a single shared unisex toilet on the second floor, while separate men's and women's toilets appear only in four copied info blocks.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 22 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Seven B-course posts cluster between October 10 and 27, 2026, with the same parking wording, the same course order and the same value-for-money verdict. None discloses sponsorship, but they read like one campaign. Two posts say the writer paid; one says they have been coming for 15 years.
- Hours: ten posts since August 2026 all give 10:30 to 21:30, last order 20:30. Before that it opened at 10:00, and two January 2026 posts say it closed at 22:00. Most of this is copied from listing info. One post claims summer hours end at 3 p.m.; no other post says so.
- One price moved: wild fresh striped pufferfish was 25,000 won in June and August 2026 posts and 23,000 won from September. Course prices held steady from January to October 2026.
- Nobody reports waiting. One writer walked straight in on a weekend afternoon. Several mention a busy lunch crowd, but nobody describes a queue. One says the food came out quickly.
- Posts copy a walk of 3, 5 or 7 minutes from Seomyeon Station exit 9; only two writers say from experience that the subway was easy.
- Four posts went with family and two with a husband or boyfriend; nobody mentions friends or going alone. Two note that most diners were older people.
- The phone number, 051-808-3467, is consistent across more than ten posts (one list has a typo). Reservations appear in copied listing info, and one writer saw guests who had booked the second-floor rooms.
