Anmok Seomyeon-jeom
안목 서면점 One post writes the name in hanja as 安木 ('calm' and 'wood'); as an everyday Korean word, anmok also means 'a discerning eye', which one blogger punned on.

Anmok Seomyeon is a pork-and-rice-soup (dwaeji gukbap) restaurant in the Seomyeon Desian Studio building at Seomyeon-ro 10, Busanjin-gu, Busan. The plain soup is 10,000 won, the mixed-meat soup 10,500 won and the head-meat soup 11,000 won; the two-person set, two bowls with boiled pork and sundae, is 30,000 won. You order and pay on the tablet or kiosk at your table and help yourself to kimchi, radish, chives, chili paste and scorched-rice tea from a self-serve bar in the middle of the room. We read 30 posts dated March 30 to October 23, 2026; 22 of them describe an actual meal. Five were about other restaurants or other Anmok branches and were set aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect a wait at mealtimes. Thirteen posts waited and four walked straight in. The waits recorded: an hour (weekend, number 30 in line), an hour (weekday lunch), an hour, 50 minutes (lunch), 15 minutes (Saturday 11am), 10 minutes (holiday, 2pm) and 3 minutes. Those who walked in came at 5:30pm on a weekend, early in the morning, before 5pm, or after the dinner rush. You join the line on the CatchTable machine at the door or in the app; one post notes that app users must check in on arrival within 20 minutes.
- Five posts describe somewhere to wait: seats by the entrance and an indoor area one post says holds about six people. One post waited out the rain at a table in the lobby of the South Bandeco Hotel next door, which the restaurant is said to run.
- Ordering happens at the table: ten posts used the tablet or kiosk there and paid on the spot. Four posts say the food came quickly, one within three minutes of ordering.
- Of eleven posts that describe the seating, eight mention a solo counter alongside two- and four-person tables, and two mention only the tables. One post alone says two- and four-seat tables are all there is.
5 more
- Smell comes up most: eleven posts say there is no porky odour; two noticed a faint smell at first that faded (in one, the friend along noticed none).
- Seven posts mention that a receipt or photo review earns a drink or a tasting of cold pork with chives; five of them ate it. Five posts got extra broth or side dishes.
- No post calls it expensive. Two say the price is fair — one about the 30,000-won two-person set, another noting 11,000 won is cheaper than Seoul. A meal is one bowl at 10,000–11,000 won.
- One post says it is five minutes from Beomnaegol Station exit 7 and recommends walking from there rather than Seomyeon Station. Other figures (473 m from Beomnaegol exit 7, ten minutes from Seomyeon exit 7) read as copied directions.
- No takeaway: two posts say nothing on the menu can be packed to go.

There is no dedicated lot. Two posts parked in the building's underground garage and got no validation; one used a street-side public lot nearby. The rate of 1,000 won per 30 minutes, 20,000 won a day, is copied from notices in several posts.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 21 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 21 posts read) |
Only one post speaks from experience about the floor: a regular who lived in the building says it is on the ground-floor shopping row. Other mentions of '1st floor' come from the address.
Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access — that means we don't know, not that there is none. Two posts mention high chairs.
One post says the toilet is outside the restaurant in the shared arcade, another that it felt far from the table. Nobody mentioned whether it is split by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 24 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Portions divide opinion: five posts call the meat generous, two call it skimpy (one ordered head-meat soup and found little head meat). One post describes thick slices, two say thin. Rice is small according to two posts and ample according to two others.
- Return visits are split: three posts say they won't go back (broth lighter than hoped, not worth the wait, too much queueing), while one regular says she has been ten times.
- Thirteen posts list opening hours, mostly weekdays 10:00–22:00 and weekends 09:00–21:00 (last order 21:00 weekdays, 20:00 weekends). The earliest post, from March 2026, gives a 21:00 weekday close with last order at 20:20, and one September post says weekends run to 22:00. All are copied from the restaurant's notices, not checked by us. One post says it is open every day of the year.
- One post says table reservations don't seem to be taken; most people used CatchTable's remote queue, and one notes the whole party must be present to be seated. Six posts give the phone number as 0507-1411-1020.
- The menu has changed: a regular (receipt dated March 2026) wrote that the zucchini soup is gone and a three-person set (from 46,000 won) was added. Later posts all show the menu with the three-person set.
